It's Been A While

So it's been a while since the last post. Life has been crazy hectic, with finishing my undergrad degree full-time, working, and being involved with the youth at our church, since we are the Middle School Directors now!

God is so awesome...he has started opening some really cool doors for us!

Thought I would post a couple of pics..since it's been a while!

Also....please take a stroll over to Perspectives it's a challenge blog that I have been asked to be a part of. It is to try and get more people all over the world to share their ideas on a common theme!

Let Everything Praise the Lord

I just read Psalm 150. I must say that since the start of school it has been a struggle to have my daily devotion. This one really hit home. In Psalms 150....the very last chapter of the book it ends with the ways to praise God....It is like the last chapter is a call to praise God.....how fitting seeing as the name Psalm means praise.

Read the little commentary part in the Bible about this chapter...one thing really struck me...the last verse Psalm 150:6....

"Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!"

It talks about the one reason we should praise God is b/c He is the one who has breathed life into us! I think so many times we forget to praise God for things...Especially when life is busy...or things are hectic...remember though no matter the circumstance to praise God....His will is to be done and for that as a Christian I can be thankful!

Psalm 96 : " 11 Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! 12 Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise"

If even nature itself rejoices in God...how much more should we who were made in His image celebrate with every breath the One we were made after and formed us!

So rejoice on this day! ( I know one lady for sure who has a reason to rejoice on this day, Jude)

Mission Trip

I know it has been too long since the last post....but life has been going a mile a minute! We just got back from a mission trip and did this LO. Also a couple pics! Hope you like!

The trip was amazing...actually it feels weird to be home....I actually feel kind of out of place here! Strange....to feel that way...but and amazing experience....I am so ready to go on another one!

Memorial Day!

So here is a LO using the Kelli Crowe collection over at SIS . This was a bit challenging for me. I would have to say I like digi way better....just b/c I can lay something done and take away later and plus I don't have to tape, cut...poke holes etc......maybe I'm lazy.... I just like to change and evolve as I go....and for me it is easier digi. Let me know what you all think!

Ok so I have put up a new banner learning some new techniques. This guy on etsy really inspired me....I talked to him through e-mail and he told me it is all photoshop stuff. So take a look.

So it has come to the end of this semester.....1 down and hopefully only 3 semesters left! It feels great to have gotten just this small bit behind me!

Popped One Out!

So I had just a few minutes in between studing for finals. I decided I would try using the "Force"....I think I prevailed! Hopefully you all think the same! Have a great nite all.......! Yeah my last final is on saturday in the a.m......yuck!

Going to the Dark Side

Ok so according to Karla the little thing I did for my sis for her bday was a LO! She said I was coming over to the "dark side." Well I guess you could say I have done another LO.....so I guess I am closer to the "dark side" lol! I did this of my sister's boyfriend, Nate! He is a great guy! Just felt in a creative mood in between all the stuff I am having to do for finals!

Ok....so a while back I asked the question who do I look like? Well....I said I would post pics of the couple of people....some tell me I look like.....

So as you see we have Jude Law, Ryan Seacrest, and Tobey Maguire.

According to http://www.myheritage.com/ I look like these 4 guys. Josh Holloway(Lost), Dennis Quad, Brad Pitt, and Kim Rossi Stuart.You need to go check this site out...you put in a pic and it tells you famous people you look like.

Alrighty!!!!

Alrighty!!!! So the semester is coming to an end! What does that mean....well mass studying I am going to take some CLEP test.....basically it is a test you can take and if you pass you get college credits for them....wish me luck and prayers......it's all in subjects I know nothing about !

Lil' Sis B-Day Love!

Well tonite we went over to my family's home! It was my youngest sis' b-day(actually saturday is) but we celebrated tonite! I am so proud of her! She is a master barber at 19 and is working in a salon....she is hopefully getting married this september to a wonderful guy....he treats her like the princess....soon to be queen she is! I love her with all my heart and so proud to call her sister and friend! I thought I would do a special little blog to her! Here are some pics from the nite!

Who Am I?

Ok so random thing! I have had people tell me I look like certain famous people (movie stars).

Well now I want random people to tell me who they think I look like. After I get some posts from this....I will post pics of who the others have told me I look like! Then I want you all to vote on who you think. Please get people who don't know me involved!
